Bachelor’s Program in Judaic Studies

The University of Connecticut’s Bachelor’s (B.A) Program in Judaic Studies at the University of Connecticut is intended to introduce students to the culture and civilization of the Jewish people. Courses cover various aspects of the history and literature of the Jews, from biblical times to the present. Students who would like to learn more about ancient and modern Israel, the experience of the Jews among Christians or Muslims, or even Jewish life in contemporary America, will find courses of interest among our offerings. The B.A. degree may be earned through the individualized major program in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences. Students may also minor in Judaic Studies.
