The Interdisciplinary Centre for the Broader Application of Genizah Research at Haifa University is offering new fellowships for Post- doctoral researchers in the academic year 2015-2016. The candidates will join the “Aggadic Midrash in the Communities of the Genizah Project”, and will be obligated to dedicate their time to the project goals, as well as publications.

The fellowships are intended for applicants with outstanding academic records and proven abilities in the relevant fields who meet all the requirements to qualify for post doctoral programs at the University of Haifa. Applicants must have experience in the field of Aggadah and midrash. Preference will be given to those with background in related literatures and/or in Judeo- Arabic. Competence in related data bases, including the Friedberg Genizah Project is an advantage. Fellowships are contingent on qualifying for The University of Haifa institutional fellowships or state fellowship for New immigrants (olim) or returning academics. Interested parties are asked to submit their CV and contact the Centre’s coordinator to receive the relevant application forms. Selected candidates will be asked to complete their application by 1/5/2015.
